Hello friends! It’s been said you can’t buy love, but you can rescue it! During this month when we celebrate love, consider helping a homeless pet. Adoption, fostering, donating, volunteering are all great ways to make a difference. And if you live in the Dyersburg area, we have an easy way for you to help!

During the month of February you can participate in our “Love a Homeless Pet”campaign. Visit one of our local businesses where you see hearts in the window. For a small donation you can honor your pet, a loved one, or “purchase” a heart just because! Participating businesses are:

• Marco’s Pizza
• Buff City Soap
• Bub’s Place
• Petsense
• Pet Stop
• Simmons Bank (both locations)
• Dyersburg Electric
• Dyersburg City Hall.

Kitten season is just around the corner and if you are feeding a feral cat colony, consider TNR (explained below). This stops the flow of kittens and ultimately saves lives. You can do this on your own (we can loan you traps) or we can assist you in getting this done. We have a huge need in our area and we are doing all we can with a very large list of feral cat areas. If you need assistance with a feral cat colony and cannot do it yourself, contact us at 731-445-0101. A text is best. Remember, we are a volunteer organization, funded through donations. So please be patient with us as we work to make a difference.
