In November 2023, we felt a deep sadness as we bid farewell to a kind and compassionate woman who left behind 12 senior cats. As Paws to Care dedicated ourselves to finding new homes for these gentle souls, we witnessed the incredible resilience of the feline spirit. However, it has become clear that the remaining 4 need a senior sanctuary or someone with a barn to provide them a home. With love, care, and patience, we have saved their lives; but we want them to have one final forever home. 

Thanks to your support, we have placed 8 of these seniors in loving homes. However, 4 cats still need our help. To assist them during the winter months, a dedicated volunteer has welcomed them into her foster nursery. As we continue our search for their perfect matches, we want to ensure they don’t get overlooked. 

Please keep the Forgotten Four in mind when sharing information about available cats. They may be grieving in a quiet environment, but they still deserve a second chance at care, love and happiness.
