Can’t adopt a pet? No worries. You can still help!
We work hard to rescue and re-home cats and dogs in our area, but the reality is that we can’t do it all on our own. With limited space and resources, we rely on our neighbors — that’s YOU — to help bridge the gap. Here’s how you can make a real impact:
Care in the Community
If you come across a stray, consider providing a safe place for them until we can arrange spay/neuter services or find a foster home. Even a few days of care can make a huge difference for an animal in need.
Open Your Home as a Foster
Becoming a foster home means giving an animal a temporary place to land. This helps them get ready for adoption and gives us the ability to help more animals. We provide supplies and support, so you’re never doing it alone.
Donate What You Can
From pet food to cleaning supplies to financial donations, every contribution helps. In a small community, even simple gestures add up to big changes for animals.

Volunteer Your Time
There’s always work to be done, and extra hands are always appreciated. Whether it’s transporting animals, helping at events, or spreading the word about adoptable pets, there’s a role for everyone.
Support Spay and Neuter Programs
Unplanned litters are a huge issue, but spaying and neutering helps keep populations under control. You can sponsor a surgery, help with transport, or get involved in community TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release) efforts.
Even if you can’t help directly, sharing our mission on social media or encouraging friends to adopt can connect more animals with homes. You might be surprised at how much just a simple click on “share” can make in the life of an animal.
Working together, we can create a better future for animals in our community. Visit pawstocare.org if you’d like to become more involved!
